Gravity

In the Timothian Model, gravity is explained through two key concepts:

  1. Simple Gravity: Atomic bodies displace and stratify subatomic chunks in the surrounding medium. The medium then exerts an equal and opposite restoration force on these bodies.

  2. Complex Gravity: Larger bodies (like planets) float in this stratified chunk medium, moving toward their buoyant point until they reach equilibrium. All bodies interact bidirectionally with the medium, constantly adjusting the forces experienced by other bodies.

Extended Discussion

Traditional theories suggest atoms generate gravity, mysteriously pulling on every other atom in the universe without physical connection. This defies cause-and-effect logic.  The Timothian Model, by introducing a subatomic medium that varies in density, offers a mechanistic explanation:

Simple Gravity

  • Every atom displaces its volume of the medium's mass.

  • Applying Archimedes' Principle in 3D, the displaced medium presses back on the atom with equal force.

  • Using Hooke's Law in 3D, each atom contributes to the total displacement and restoration force.

  • Newtonian mechanics explain how displaced non-uniform density medium stratifies into concentric spheres of varying density around bodies.

  • This replaces Einstein's abstract 'spacetime' with a concrete, cause-and-effect mechanism.

Complex Gravity

  • Large bodies create extensive stratification spheres in the medium.

  • Bodies interact through shared medium tension, like opposing forces on a spring.

  • All bodies contribute to local medium tension dynamically and bidirectionally.

  • Bodies move to their buoyant point based on their density profile and the medium's density profile.

Simply put, gravity is a density gradient in the medium created by displacing atomic bodies. Bodies seemingly "attracted" to each other is an emergent property due to buoyancy.

Note: This explanation has been highly summarized.  The full Timothian Model explains each aspect in detail.

Implications...

  1. This model explains gravitational interactions through simple, physical mechanisms without resorting to action at a distance or abstract concepts like spacetime curvature.

  2. Gravity interacts with other properties of the medium, such as light waves oscillating in the medium, or magnetic flows of the medium, because these are all medium related processes.  This is a unifying aspect of the model.

  3. Gravity as "a density gradient in the medium created by displacing atomic bodies" scales from a single atom up through a black hole or even entire solar systems!  This is a unifying aspect of the model.
