Atoms: Electron "shells" are actually stratification spheres in the chunk medium, finding stable equilibrium points.
Solar Systems: Planets float at their buoyant points in the star-stratified chunk medium.
Both systems are self-correcting: perturbations create imbalances in the medium that naturally restore equilibrium.
